Abandoned CB750

I know of an abandoned Honda CB750, it's in a corporate parking garage, I've been passing it every day for 4 years, it has 6 year old plates on it, is covered in dust, brake and clutch cables are broken, tailights are snapped off and lying on the ground next to it and it has more than one notice (several years old) from security saying it needs to be moved, it also has Movers stickers (the kind the movers put on military members household goods). Anyone have any idea how I'd go about claiming it? physically it appears in solid shape. I gues you could say it's been "garage kept" for at least 4-6 years.

You mention six year old plates. I assume your are not talking the U.K.

I'd contact the owners of the parking garage and ask them if they  will part with the bike if you pay a small charge for the 6 years rent arrears. In the UK there is a law which allows the owner of the property to dispose of the goods on his land if no owner for the unclaimed item can be found. I'm sure most countries will have similar laws.

That's the beauty of it, it's not in a paid garage, it's in the garage at my office, I've been walking past it for years and it has several notices from security stating that if not removed it will be considered abandoned and junked. I could take it any time I want but worried I'd get it fixed up and cafe racer converted and then the owner would show up and claim it.

e mail the cops-they can give you accurate advice and it wont cost you-i dealt with a trooper in west virginia when i was having trouble with a less than honest vendor-as long as your straight,the cops seem to be fair-not often you hear that!
other than that-just torch it-damn hondas!
