Rickman Zundapp
« on: November 03, 2007, 01:28:13 AM »
Hello all,

My name is David and I am working on a 1973 Rickman
with a Zundapp motor. I am having issues with the clutch. The manual states the clutch arm play should be 2-3mm. I'm at 7-10mm. OK, manual says to raise the clutch thrust pin using washers. Well that pin looks
maxed out in the washer area (its stacked with washers
already) although I may be able to squeeze another
1mm washer in there, then I'll be off the shoulder. My question is regarding the thrust pin itself, how high should the ball bearing be sitting in the thrust pin?
Should it be high and pround, or down low and deep?

any help is apreciated

Cheers,
David
