That's not a Honda Britain 'Phil Read Replica' but was marketed as a Seeley Honda 750 (although it's not a 'proper' Seeley).

Try Googling Seeley Honda 750.

No need to convert it to a Caff Racer, it is one already !

MANY THX

Regarding cafe: i dont really like this look and personally hate plastics so propably will just save them for new buyer or restore this one and buy another one.

The SS was built using the much the same bits as the Phil Read, but not his name or colour scheme. After the initial batch of Phil Reads, Honda and Phil apparently fell out over recompense for the use of his name. Thus the follow up batch changed colour scheme. The original idea was the sale of the 750F2s that were lying in stock with no market while potential customers waited for the arrival of the 16v 750KZ. Then of course the potential customers saw a KZ and no longer were customers.

:) well said.
I have putted this bike into peaces and find out it could not be factory made - it has been tuned up (engine) and it is ohc instead of dohc that means it was made before 1979 - could that be correct? (i thought ss were made between 1979 and 1982) I'm sending a photo of it.
Would anybody know what is a value of this bike - i could't find any for sale.

The Phil Reads and SSs were all built from F2 SOHCs. Some kits were sold, ie just the parts for the conversion. Thus there may be some home built variations in the basic bike. From the photo, yours looks a resprayed SS

BTW, throw the Michelins away before the Michelins throw you away.
