I've often fancied one... well done that man :) I have the bike that followed on from it although I rarely ride it. The S26 had wooden brake blocks in 1926 and it certainly is a challenge.

started to throw it back together to see whats missing , was taken apart in the 50s and all nickel work redone , its very very complete and the owner never touched the tank so this item is  100% original (and it can stay that way) looking forwards to here it run , im very tempted to take the head off to see what cc it is , old brown book and new V5c say 350 , but I think this maybe a mistake .

looking about 99% complette , will take apart and reassemble with more care and a can or two of black , will restore at a latter date if i like it enough , the build quality is very good (not big on BSAs ) i am waiting for some info from the VMCC as have been told they did build some 350 round tanks which is news to me and i can find no info on any on the net .

Frame and engine numbers http://www.britbike.com/bsapitstop/dating/1921-30.html

.... "In 1924, two BSA 'Round Tanks' and two BSA 350cc Sports models took part in a climb up Mount Snowdon in Wales."

A video.. sorry can't translate, I don't do E European http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WONsDM_8AU&feature=player_embedded hope it works.

I didn't realise they had no front brake... sounds like 'fun'
