First time restoration project wanted
« on: March 19, 2009, 08:35:00 PM »
Hi All, I am new to motorcycles having spent the last twenty years rebuilding classic cars. I am currently erecting a brand new large garden shed to accomdate a motorcycle project but as yet have nothing suitable to restore. I am looking for something like a Suzuki GP100, Kawasaki KE175 or Honda CB250RS but would consider anything else. I am in Shropshire but can collect within reasonable distance. Looking to spend around £200, doesn't need to be spectacular as long as it is largely complete and preferably with a V5c. What have you got??

Please email me at sarahpitt868@btinternet.com

Cheers

Ian

Just purchased my first project bike, a Honda CB900F2. I like the idea of a four cylinder after spending most my life working on car engines. Will be stripping it back to bare bones and building it up from scratch. Does anyone else have a CB900 that can offer any advice to a novice bike builder?
