Dunkley
« on: August 11, 2010, 05:36:31 PM »
My son has just given me the job of installing an engine in a Dunkley popular. The original engine has been lost so I will probably use a 50cc honda . Can anyone suggest where an original engine may be found to save me from this course of action. Graham

There's a nice article here:

http://www.icenicam.ukfsn.org/articles/art0001.html

and another example of the make here:

http://www.classicbikeshed.com/index.php?a=2&b=2005

The second article notes that there aren't very many of these about, and says that the author of the first article (Mark Daniels) assisted in the restoration of a Dunkley.
Some contact details for him can be found here:

http://www.icenicam.ukfsn.org/contact.html

He might know of spares, or where to ask for an engine - it appears to be Dunkley's own.
