The brake shoes in your wheel do look like 1930s Enfield type.
Don't recognise the 3 bolts around the boss inside the front hub though.
(could be a v-twin only feature though ?).

That Enfield v-twin wheel doesn't have the speedo driven off the front wheel - nor the plug there either.
Definitely some similarity, perhaps another year ?

Good point about speedo drive. This bike also has a Square four Ariel box too so who knows. I also have a rear guard which no one can identify.             The cutaway on the offside i thought might be a tip but to no avail.

Just to drag up a super old thread for the sake of having a resolution present, this is indeed a Harwil wheel, used on a number of British bike's throughout the 30's. Attached photo is of a 1932 Calthorpe wheel.
