I have a 79 UK spec T140, and would like to fit higher bars, What exactly is required, e.g Bars, New cables, extending wiring etc

You will need new cables and longer brake hose, but there was only one set of switches listed, so the switch wiring may be long enough? Is there any spare switch wire coiled inside the headlamp shell?
The western bars changed slightly for the 1979 models as the switchgear also changed for '79 (E models).
The '79 bars (part 97-7040) having a slightly longer bar grip area each side to accommodate the longer switch units, the earlier Western bar was part 97-7001.

WOW... That was quick, thanks very much, I will check wiring tomorrow, although I have just delayed cosmetic work for a goosed rear master cylinder repair/replace...Thanks for prompt response...
