« on: April 13, 2018, 08:48:57 PM »
Hello, anyone made their own exhaust pipes for a 71 Bonneville, I'm going to try and make my own, firstly to get rid of the monster original silencer's ugly things and the breather pipe that runs along the rear mudguard what can be done to get rid of that I have T140 rocker box's 6 bolt inspection cover's is it right I can breath it into the exhaust box and the frame over flow at the head stock?

I can’t comment on exhausts but why not use a small filter on the breather and terminate it under the battery somewhere. There are plenty of filters to choose from on EBay. I wouldn’t pipe it into the exhaust, though if you wanted you could possibly run it into the air filter somehow.
