Some BSA Bantam model D7 (3-Speed) questions
« on: May 24, 2007, 05:21:58 AM »
Hello everyone, I have some questions regarding the model D7 3-speed BSA bantam

1)  How long was the BSA bantam model D7 Super Deluxe manufactured and sold ( I understand it was first manufactured in 1960 being launched originally in 1959) however when did production actually cease?
(I understand the silver model replaced the super deluxe and a deluxe model was also sold with ruby red finish and jelly mold fuel tank shape these effectively super ceded my machine)

2) Are they any pictures of the D7 bantam trail model available which was exported, I have seen pictures of the trail bronc and pastoral D7 but never the trail model.

Thanks and any help would be appreciated

According to Roy Bacon's book: 'BSA Buyer's Guide' The D7 was made as the Super from 1959-65, the Super de luxe 1964-65, both Silver and de luxe 1966.

Slightly more detailed D7 info. here:
