new to the forum

hello all
the bronze here in Ireland. just a quick line to say hello.
my backround in bikes is varied but i have a big interest in z1000's an GS1000's from the good old days when bikes didnt handle and brakes were only for girls!!.
sadly though people here in ireland think that if they have an old bike for sale it is worth a fortune, i have been to see bikes recently and to be frank i would say i scrapped better years ago!!. and btw these guys think a clapped out gs1000 that would take €3000 to put back on the road would be worth about €2500!!!.
anyways i look forward to posting on the forum and hope to make a few new friends on ere.
