Hi all. I have just bought a 1982 guzzi v50 from a guy who rode it to work one day then left it there, that was five and a half years ago!!! the bike is all there and in one piece, the engine is not siezed and after a new battery turns over, there is a good spark at the plugs. Now my problems. whilst sat someone tried to get it going and stripped the carbs and cleaned them out but didnt reset them, just did what he thought would be good. so can someone tell me what a rougth setting should be for the carbs so I can get it to run. I have also cleaned out the carbs and rebuilt them to the settings they were at when I started but since found out about there previous stip down. Also what should the tappit settings be ?Any help would be greatly apprectated.
