Good morning Anji, this is a BSA A7/ A10 more likely A10 because all the "A" series used A7 prefix on frames until I think nearly the end of production 1963 IE rocket gold stars. the engine number is for a road rocket but with a "c" prefix I think it would be about '55 -'56 small bearing engine , I think , this is just my own experience after owning A10's since 1966. If you want further expert info, IE when delivered which dealer which area of the country etc contact BSA owners club, Machine dating Officer, a Mr steve Fodden @ 113, Holmville Rd , Bebington, wirral, CH4632PX.
