breakers yards can be a great source for forks for choppers.

Thanks for the interest, I have gone for trail bike forks  37' long. Whic gives the rake that I needed to keep the bottom of the frame level. I am using 19' wheel.

I have a honda cb550 engine 1977 and I have aquired a hard tail frame.

Now I need to try and find some original cb 550 exhaust pipes.

What have you got?

Hi Dougie, with trailbike forks the travel can be so much that on a chop under heavy breaking the down pipes/tubes can ground out,it may be possible to stiffen the forks by putting car valve springs down the fork tubes, hope this helps Sean.
