I have a 1959 triumph bonneville with matching engine & fame numbers 26238, which i have owned for the last 15 years, & have slowly rebuilt completely, & is now ready for paint, I require as much history as posible in order to promote the value & history of this bikes year of manufacture. I have searched high & low in South Arfica & know only of 3, one which made in 1958 8 stud head, & one other slightly later also 8 stud head & mine which is the 9 stud head has all the extras.
main info required: how many were made in 1959, how many kept in uk, exported to usa, australia, south africa & elsewhere as this bike may have come from elsewhere, what & where can I obtain the correct color samples from, what is the demand restored bikes in the uk, & what would the market range invalue be ( range only)? any other info that may be of interest & help.
