Hi.
After stripping the carb, i have discovered the pilot jet, main jet and needle jet are the correct numbers for my bike (as per Rupert Ratio manual) . The parts are old and have some kind of light green residue/corrosion on them.. I still cannot get a decent tick over and the carb is still burning rich which usually ends up in a flooded plug. I have spent days on tuning the carb and i still cant get the mixture right.
Would an amal 'repair kit' help? Or Is it worth going to the trouble of getting a new carb?
