What barrel and cylinder head is this form please?

Firstly, i dont know how to put the image on, so have put on flickr. On here are pictures of the barrel and cylinder head, picked them up from a friend but not sure what they are from, my father thought perhaps a norton international? Also what they might be worth, and where best to sell them, guessed someone on here may know, many thanks eliot here is the link

Could be from an OHC (KTT? KSS?) Velocette?
An accurate measurement of the bore diameter could help?

certainely nothing British here!
this head is off a Ducati bevel single, although what capacity I can't say without knowing the bore size - 125, 175, 200, 250, 350 or 450cc variants were all similar. A Ducati specialist would know.

Definitely a Ducati, but could be off any early bevel, single or twin. You'd need to find a Ducati person to identify it reliably. It will be worth something. The exhaust port thread looks ok, and that's a notorious damage spot.
