I've tried several other forums to identify this faired rear rigid guard, but no clues, anyone here? Ariel, Model X Matchy, BSA?

The other side has a horizontal indent for something to clear?

Some models of mid-late 1930s BSA had a valance like that ?
The M20 in particular.
Only someone who owned one could confirm if that structure in behind the chain guard was the same though ?

That's why we bought it, thinking pre-war M20 but nothing like fitting. More clues welcome. We need to swap for valanced M20 guard.
