That depends on where you are living!
The Imperial (British) Gallon holds 4546cc so that would require 151.5cc of oil for a 30:1 mixture.
The US Gallon holds only 3785cc so that would require a mere 126cc of oil to get the correct mixture!

Cheers

Thanx 4 speedy reply  :)
As I live in good old Blighty , then 151.5cc it is !
will modern 2 stroke cause any problems ( additives and synthetics ) taken into account or will I be better off with an old and trusted 2 stroke oil ( if there is any about )
awaiting in anticipation

I would use whatever 2-stroke oil is readily available. Your 1973 Jawa(?) certainely won't need any sophisticated ultra-modern synthetic stuff but won't be harmed by it either.
Why not show a pic of your pride and joy?

Re: 30:1 OIL MIX ???. Bosch Flywheel Magneto

 :(
unfortunitley I don't think that people would like to see an updated piccie of my cassie .
It got pinched last week and they ripped out all the electrics from the Bosch Flywheel Magneto , thankfully I managed to start the engine with a lot of help from a friend ( still sounds good ) .
but because the front light unit, back tailight unit have been ripped of the frame
it has left me with a humdinger the wiring is still intact from the magneto but because it has been cut I have no idea how to rewire it back ( when I get new light units ) .
Me and my mate figured out the wire for the HT Coil , 2 brews a few choice words about the offenders and much perseverance .
I would appreciate some advice ( diagram would be nicer) as the wires are coloured coded from a previous owner , but do not know who that owner was or when .
Casal K270 1973 model from portugal ..
So in the meantime I will still show her off from her glory days and not what she looks like now ( cassie does have feelings !!)
