Fabulous things! Some interesting influence from european designs. I suppose the earlier bike is rarer, but the later one has more of the "early Japanese" design coming through and I find it more appealing. Do you plan to restore them?

leon, planing to restore the very early one, honda only started making bikes in 49 i think, the first one i think was a two stoke, not many of these early ones about. the other is a 350 which is at that time, a bike bike for then, when you stand them side by side, the 350 is a big bike, spares are hard to come by, but has had a few of these early bikes, the 350 was purchased as a spares bike. but didnt know it was a 350 till it got here. i have a 61 cb72 as well which iam keeping for now. i do like things that are different. alan

Good luck with the restoration - at least you have an almost complete bike to start with. I'd hate to be building one of these up from a bare frame and scaps of a motor. As for "different", there can be no argument!

Im a fellow Honda Dream 305 owner.  Ill be watching your project!  I bought mine as an older restoration, but fixed a few things on it like, new seat cover, hi beam electric prob, tail light ground prob and starter button was stuck on.

I dont want to high jack your thread with a bunch of pics but you can see it in my Avitar.

some pics from laste years Indiana Motorcycle Expo Showcase.  i have white buco bags on it now.
