Removing paint
« on: March 11, 2012, 10:38:37 PM »
:) Looking for any ideas that will help me strip the old paint of my bike.
Nitromor is not strong enough, do not want to us a hot air gun or sanding her down. Thinking more inline with aircraft paint stripper?  :-\

Not something I have done myself but I would think that a bead blasting company would be the best way to go. Check out Yellow pages or Classic Bike mags for one. Stove enamelers sometimes have the equipment or will know someone who has. Alternately Machine Mart sell the gear to do it yourself. Not cheap but ...
Good luck
