I am building a set of wheels for a guy restoring his early V twin BSA.I received only the rims & hubs. Can anyone tell me the cross pattern on the brake drum side-front & rear appear the same. Were front spokes 10 gauge & rear 9 gauge?

The model apparently is a E27 about 1927 one family owner.I think its had new rims at some stage as the drilling of the rims make it cross 1 whereas I think it should be cross 2.( Brake drum side )
