brake cable with built in switch?

does anyone know if i can get such a thing as a brake cable with a built in brake light switch? the peugeot doesnt seem to have a provision for a switch  on either the front or back brake and i dont want to add an ugly plastic switch to the back brake. any help or ideas would be a great help.

Triumph or BSA front brake cables from late 60's on have them.

Its possible that as you will have to MOT your bike for its first UK reg it will need a stop switch on the rear ,

rearstop lights are compulsory, not sure about front these days,though if its fitted it must work.

It doesn't have to be the rear brake.

Machines first used before 1 April 1986 must have a stop lamp that operates from at least one brake control.

Machines first used on or after 1 April 1986 must have a stop lamp that operates from both brake controls.
However, a small number of machines first used from this date were approved with the stop lamp operated by only one control. A machine should only be failed if you are certain that it was originally manufactured to operate from both controls

and thats just for the switch not the cable?

Oh well.

I have made all my own cables for the last 40+yrs, I get the original Triumph/Bsa switchs from auto jumbles. I still have rolls of inner and outer from when I was in the trade.

 its often cheaper to live in the past

did think that when i looked at the web site. might have a look at a hidden micro switch or modifying a modern spring switch so it is hidden behind the fake tool box on the left hand side.

They were fitted the Kawasaki two stroke triples and Honda's from late '60s to mid '70s.
