Identification of BSA sidestand

Can anyone help me with the ID of this BSA stand which came in a box of Norton bits ?

It carries the casting mark or part number ? BSA 3 65-47 or 8 65-47

Judging by the angle of the pivot in relation to the clamp, I assume that it must fit to the forward part of the cradle of a single down-tube frame.

It is 8 1/2" long from pivot to foot and would clamp a 7/8" tube.

I  think  it  is BSA B31 / B33,  the  other  half  of  the  clamp  is  fixed  to  the  bottom  run  of  the  frame.  Lou  Dalby.

I  would  say  mid  50's  swinging  arm  frame  as  attached
