Thankyou for the link.I'll pass it on to the owner who is back in Holland. Terrot was a bit of a puzzle Found in a cellar .May have been a 225cc? single cylinder but the cyl head didn't appear correct for the age of the machine. I'm in UK at the present. I'll see if I have any information on the other computer when I get it set up. Watch  this space,,,,,,,Trying for Dutch papers for it to many problems trying to re register it in France

Hi, could anyone shed any light on a number found on the registration plate of a 1920s Terrot.
Rubbing down the plate for painting revealed another number painted before the expected departmental number. It reads 522-K3.
Anyone got any ideas?.
Cheers, Carl G

Rex, Sorry, senior moment. Was thinking of the conical hub twin leader where one brake arm pulled againstthe other.

They were, in the day considered an excellent sidecar. A comfortable ride for the passenger and good  handling for the driver.I liked the hydraulic brake set up on the s501 I had on a couple of my road outfits.
All in all a good bit of kit.

I have most of a 125 Stinger some parts missing some duplicated. Complete engine, spare c/cases barrels.
Frame, wheels etc etc.
Parts currently in France. Could be taken over to UK around September.
If anyone is interested I could list/photograph the parts.
Must go as a job lot, sensible offers please.
Cheers Carl.

European and Other Bikes / Re: Terrot 350 hst oiling??
« on: February 25, 2010, 10:19:16 PM »
Straight 40 or 50 grade mineral should be ok.
Oil pump is a simple total loss device so no return to tank, should have a sight glass on top to allow metering by eye. lots of Terrot info available on internet.
Good luck , Carl G

Hello,
I wonder if anyone here has any info on Terrot engine / frame numbers or details regarding alterations to the engines on the 225 cc PU ?. Not sure if cyl head/barrel is correct for the year. (or if the year is correct...)
Regards, Carl G
