triumph 68 tls front brake

hi all has anyone fitted the triumph tls into a norton 8 innch hub and wheal i thought it would be a better set up than the norton tls any help would be good

It was never a particularly good brake . Set up well it was really only adequate.

Dunno which brake you're referring to, but the Triumph TLS (67-70 type) was one of the best drum brakes ever,and out-performed most of the discs of the time. Good looking too...

i was meaning the triumph 68 tls full width hub one it is much better than the norton one you only have to look at the size of the brake shoes hal as big again as the nortons but i dont see how to fit it into a norton hub so anyone want to swap it for a norton tls

   Rex, Sorry, senior moment. Was thinking of the conical hub twin leader where one brake arm pulled againstthe other.
