Sorted out my starting problem but now i seem to have another, my 71 TR6 is fitted with a 68 engine. When i rebuilt it i fitted a new timing breather disc and spring and oil filter plumbed up on the scavenge return. When i got the engine started it took about 3 - 5 minutes until i got a steady flow of oil back to the tank, i had filled the engine oil filter with oil as i didnt want the top end starved of oil as the engine has been rebuilt. Obviously there must have been a fair amount of oil in the sump as it spewed a fair amount out of the breather, now i have a good return i am still getting oil spitting out of the breather tube, will this clear up as i run the engine in or do i have a problem
