Does anyone know why Tandon called one model the "Imp"?   itīs not initials so the P  doesnīt stand for Porridge!
Father worked there so we know why.

Because the designer had a prewar Riley Imp which was immaculate.
Any more bikes with funny names?

Like it Bomber. Mr. Tandon was a photographer with a shop in Edgware who photographed the results of the London bombs during the war, so P for photos. Any connection with Tandon computers?
