Ello all.

Just saying hello and seeing if there's anyone around.

I'm from the UK, South East areas, and I'm hoping to find advice in the future for a bike I've come into custodianship of.   (Ie I'm not asking now - but will be doing so in the future. ;) )

Hi! Tell us what it is, some of us have specific knowledge of a particular marque and some have that and also have historical and engineering skills.

Hmm - looks like I might fit in here.... (no not there, no, not there either.... no THAT one! THAT ONE! THAT HOLE THERE!)

Bike is a JAP speedway single engined slimline Featherbed with a 4 leading show front brake (Grimeca I think), and was built by my (sadly recently departed) father based on a bike he saw on the North West racing circuit in the early 1950s.  He took 50 years to get around to it, and 20 years to build it, and it's been passed to me to care for. :)

All I need now is a garage..... (hopefully soon, just need to sort out a house sale, a divorce, and a house purchase first - trifling matters really.)

and you think the bike will be problematic?

If herself finds out bike has any kind of value, say goodbye to it.

Lots of caravans for sale in wiltshire.
