My dreamer world refers to lack of spares for pre-war BMW's as well.

Its all relative. To how much money you have and are wanting to commit.Burnt out pop stars have blower Bentleys as runabouts on their estates. My brother took me to see a large house being extended, and there were cammy Nortons and Velos in alcoves on the walls.Mounted and stuffed as it were.My old boss has five Vincents, and goes on $ 250,000 world cruises. He s too old to ride.I have bikes that cost $50 or less 40 years ago. Some restored some not.I refuse to spend silly money on plating,or anything else.In the rarified atmosphere of prewar BMWs ,100,000E is probably a starter. So I dont go there.Regards John.
