1978 DT175 Cutting out after a few minutes

Hi there all. I'm new to the forum.
I have just finished rebuilding a DT175 everything works O.K. Bike starts well, but cuts out after a few minutes and has to cool down before it starts again.
Any advise or tips most welcome.
Thanks.

Hi there, Have you checked that the choke is not sticking on and the airfilter is clean. You could temporarily remove the airfilter and see if it makes a difference. The silencer can also become clogged but that doesn't usually stop them just knocks the performance down. I hope this helps, Dave.
