Honda CD125 (1969)
« on: August 07, 2007, 10:36:14 PM »
:) I'm restoring my Honda CD125 (1969) and I have problem finding the correct battery.. For you guys information, I'm from Malaysia and went all over country but can't find the original battery, we only have 6v with small Amp and 12v with 9Amp.

Please help...!

Then today when I expect to get the engine run after overhaul with 90% engine parts new (Standard Piston, Piston Ring, Gears, Block Linear & etc..) BUT still can't start, no current.. (Could it be the plug coil?)

Please reply you guys opinion..

Thanks! ;)
I'm a Classic Bike enthusiast. I own Honda CD125 1969 and Yamaha Enduro DT125 1982

Tricky here, if no current you mean no spark. Then I would suggest checking power to the coil. If ok also check the engine stop switch on the handle bars. I have known honda stop/engine kill switches to short out on the handle bars causing a no start. Had this happen on my CM250 custom approx 5yrs ago. Hope this helps ;)
