« on: August 31, 2008, 09:19:22 PM »
Hi folks ... I have a 1979 Phil Read race replica Honda CB750. I need to restore it but have no contact with anyone who also has one. I need imformation about the bike before I start stripping it for restoration - can anyone help me please?

Phil Read Replica's used the CB750 F2 as the donor bike.

David Siver Spares is a good place to find new old stock parts and they will be able to help you, have your frame and engine numbers handy.

A guy called Andy in the VJMC might be able help with any bodywork you might need. Mobile 07720 449991.

Hope this is of some use to you.

Cheers

Thanks Grizzly - body work is no problem - I work in fibreglass for a living.
Ive made fibreglass fairings for Phill Read myself a few years ago - he is quite a guy!
What I really need is to find someone who has one of these bikes so I can get info on ceratin parts that are not standard 750 Honda.
