I'm embarking on a project to build a Honda RC181 look-a-like for the road. I hesitate to use the word replica, as I'm more concerned with creating it within a budget, whilst being true to the essence of the bike. I've purchased a CB550 as the donor for engine and frame, which is a great runner having covered under 30k. I've seen pictures of a bike belonging to Greg Holliday on this site, which is pretty much what I aspire to. I've created a shopping list and have already started buying some of the components I'll need. It would be really useful to hear from anyone that has created a similar machine to learn from their experiences.
