British parts Chicago
« on: February 21, 2006, 09:14:10 AM »
Dont buy anything from British bike parts in Chicago! I placed an order in august of 2005 they only shipped part of it but charged my card for the full order. The wing emblems I ordered for my BSA A50 never arrived I called them once a month and got the same answer (Oh yeah I will ship them out today) I havent received them yet and when I call they are rude and wont respond to e-mail. I still had alot of parts to purchase for my project but none of them will be purchased from them. Buyer beware a very bad vendor with poor customer service

Unfortunately I have heard the same story about this company from others.

I know these guys as well. Once I ordered a crankcase for 850 Norton ES. After 6 weeks and several calls I did not receive anything. Then I let them know that I will place a full page advert in Walnecks (where they advertise as well) warning potentional customers. I phoned Walnecks as well and told them that British Bikes Chicago is not trustworthy. This made those Chicago idiots react and I got an 850 crankcase - but not from an electric start model. Now I got furious and sent them a fax stating that the page has been ordered in Walnecks and will be featured in the next issue. This made them react promptly: I got all the money back and a letter saying I can keep the cases as well!
So go ahead and try this - it might work!
