Honda CB350 1973 help please
« on: October 18, 2005, 05:11:29 AM »
Hi there,

I have purchased a bike and I think it is a CB350k, I need 2 know if this model had the guage below spedo & tacho that has turn/oil/neutral & beam indicators on it.
I picked up one of these panels from a wreckers but it is too big for the bolts ontop of forks. The guy at wreckers said it was off a 750 and that it would fit a 350????????????
This bike has the 'cafe racer type handle bars, but i don't think that should affect the width of forks, buggered if i know ???.

Any help would b appreciated.

The warning lights on '73 models (turn/neutral) were built into the rev counter dial, and I think the main beam warning light was on the headlamp shell and not on a separate panel as far as I remember? Also I do not think there should be an oil pressure warning light on this model?
The instruments and headlamp assembly could have been changed for later a type (CB360 or CB400 Four possibly?).

The 1970 Honda CB350 (and 1974 CB360) type instruments are shown here so I think the '73 type should be the same or similar:
