This is my first attempt at adding a picture to a forum topic sofingers crossed. The handsome fella is my Grandfather but the bike remains a mystery to me and my Mum. Any ideas?

Dashing Grandad looks like he is riding a 493cc BSA Sloper of the late twenties. This was one of BSA's most popular pre-war sports models, introduced for the 1927 season.
