1930's Triumph

I have just got what I believe to be a triumph from the 1930's or maybe 40's. The only number that I can find on it are on the engineand they are E420 on the bottom left side of the cylinder and under that is 1.S5.2139
Any help would be appreciated as I wish to start resoring this bike soon and want to get it as original as possible.

'1 S4' would have identified it as a 1934 500cc 5/1 model, but I can't find any information for '1 S5'

What you have is one of the Val Page designed Triumphs manufactured from, I believe, 1933 to 1936.
