hi, my mother has a 1959 matcless wxr 583 550cc motorcycle and wants to know the value to sell it.  Any ideas or suggestions of where she could check?  thanks

Hi,

I don't believe they made a 550cc machine post war, maybe not pre-war either.

If it's a single, it would be 250, 350 or 500.

If a twin, 500, 600 or possibly even 650.

Well actually they did! The 'G9B' made in limited numbers for the US market.

Yes, a 550cc version of the G9, the equivalent AJS model being the 20B,
