Holidays in Kent
« on: July 16, 2009, 03:57:07 PM »
Hello every body.

I am a Spanish Lover of English old bikes. We meet a group in the south of Spain who enjoy rebuilding and riding vintage bikes.

Any way,  I´m going to London and to Charing, Ashford for Holidays with my family, last ten days of July.

I Would love to visit a museum, collection, garage or just meet some other hobby-fellows. I Have seen there was a meeting in Ashford last april, so I believe there must be old bikes.

I appreciate your information.

Thank you very much.

PD. By the way you can visist us in ftp://http://www.lamaneta.org/baena/

Frederico,
I live in Kent, there is an Easter Classic bike show in Ashford, every Easter Monday, Auto-jumbles @ Ham Street Kent also near Ashford, did anyone send you any information?
Beaulieu has 2 events in May & September  & there is the fabulous Sammy Miller Museum just  6 or 7 miles from Beaulieu.
In September there is a Eurojumble @ Netley Marsh Southampton, and of course Shows up and down the country, e-mail me @ J.hall441@btinternet.com with what information you require.

Cheers

John

Hi there,
Our next event in Kent is The Romney Marsh Classic Bike Show & Bikejumble, on Sunday 3rd July at Hamstreet, Kent, TN26 2JD. www.elk-promotions.co.uk
This is probably too early for you, other events to watch are the Sunbeam MCC Garden of England run on Sunday 17th July at Headcorn. Starts 10am always a good show of pre1940 machines. http://sunbeam-mcc.co.uk/
Hope this helps, Julie
