Also this i believe is from a Enfield of the early 60s i have no longer any need of but only have the fairing no shield or brackets.

The mudguard is Royal Enfield, dating from around 1956.

The fairing looks like the 'Airflow' type as fitted to Royal Enfields.

Must say im a little supprised you said mudgaurd came from a Enfield but it did come with a load of Efield parts thanks on that.

mmmm right i have the crusaders and this front mudgaurd is far too narrow for the forks heres a top view

The one shown on the right is definitely a Commando Roadster left hand (battery cover) panel. And I'm pretty sure it is from the 1974 850 Roadster version.

:)Thanks L.A.B there just parts ive found hanging around that was bought with other bits n bobs nice to know what they are incase anyone needs them got some crank cases to post when i get time to take pics think they maybe small BSA and Triumph .

the more i look at this headlamp the more i believe its from a autocycle but cant find one with that glass and bracket.

I'm think the mudguard may have come from a Royal Enfield Clipper. It would have been unsprung and not fitted to the fork sliders.

do you have any photos of the clipper with this mudgaurd it just feels as it came from maybe 125 to 200cc machine.It just seems too narrow for anything else ill have to find the size out obvious from the photo it could be any size.

Both Clipper and Crusader models of the period (I think?) used mostly the same cycle parts so could be from either?

The only thing in the 125-200cc range at the time would have been the  150cc 'Ensign' model.

Could you possibly post up some better photos of the m/guard? (and an outside shot of the mystery oil tank?).
