T120R Clutch slip (and rattle)

Hi

my T120r's clutch is slipping between 2500 and 3000 rpm, depending on gradient etc.  

I'm guessing its merely worn and needs replacing, but could it be adjusted?

Any tips on adjustment/replacement would be welcome.

Also, have just noticed a low frequency rattle when I throttle off coming from the front of the engine.  Could this be related to the clutch problem/any other suggestions?

Firstly check it is set up properly . Take the cover off, pull in the clutch lever. Slowly use the kickstarter and check the outer pressure plate has lifted square, if not adjust. The threads should be just coming through the adjuster nuts. If all is well and it had been adjusted properly remove the plates and check they are flat, I always have my plain plates finely blasted, just to take the shine off them, replace and set up as described. This does take a while to get it right, but it will be perfect.
Rattle could be badly adjusted primary chain hitting front alternator bolt or maybe rotor touching the alternator, check the air gap around it, 8 thou.
