Wipac rotor removal
« on: May 10, 2010, 08:00:37 PM »
HI, does anyone have any idea how to remove one of these wico pacy rotors? The standard removal tools won't fit and I can't find anything in any of the BSA service sheets or Haynes manual that details the removal of this particular type. It sits on a keyed taper.

A three leg puller is usually quite capable of removing them, you just need one big enough to reach.

Thanks for that ;) I've ordered a set of three 50, 100 and 150mm. I'll update the thread once I've tried them out.

Perfect tools and will be used again on other projects. Cheated a bit with the electronic ignition replacement but what the hell.......... the bike is never going to be an exact restoration.
