Just a quick query, Why do some Triumphs/ Nortons have chokes and some dont?? My Triumph is a 1971 and doesnt have one, it can be a pig to start ,it fires and if you dont catch it it can be a bxxxxr to get going. Its fitted with twin Amal concentrics, would it be better with a choke or not?? Years ago I had a 750 Norton that had a choke and i had no problem starting it, I looked at a 750 Norton a few weeks ago and it didnt have one. Whats the feelings of others on this subject.
