Triumph T1ooT 1967 front brake swop

Greetings all, as anyone changeed a front 7inch single shoe to a twin leading shoe as I have one to change but find when changed over the outer edge of the t/leader is to far off the brake drum meaning  machining od the stub around 2/3mm anyone done one please. cheers..

I put one on my 64 T90 and it was a straight swop.

I put one on my '67 Tiger 100S and it too was a straight swap...

cheers all for the reply BUT It dont work,  a straight swop over, I have re built the wheel and find there is a difference in 1968 wheel spindles and the 67,my bike is just in the change over period from single to twin leader, thanks tho for the help cheers..

The only difference in the late sixties was that the yokes went from 6 1/2" to 6 3/4" width, and the spindle was lengthened to suit.
There's no reason why it shouldn't fit, although for some combinations of sliders, spindles and hubs you need to watch the depth of engagement of the brake plate anchor.
What do you think is the problem with yours?

Max I cannot find a real problem but all I know is when offered up to the wheel it slides on up until it hits the w/bearing and then the b/plate is approx 2mm from the drum if I were to machine off that 2mm the distance from the brake plate boss,  the fork slider would be short but as yet I havent had time to re measure.
