Have you checked the oil levels in the engine oil tank and gearbox?

Is the oil returning back into the engine oil tank when running?

You seem to be having a lot of problems with your bike!!!

Dunno about oil levels, but what happens when you kick it over with the clutch pulled? That'll show whether it's engine or box related.
Next step would be to remove the primary cover and split/remove the chain (don't C15s have a split link?) and turn the engine and the 'box by hand to see what's causing your problems.

Thanks all.

Rex.

It turns over fine with the clutch in. This would now mean opening up the geabox?

ta.

If it grinds with the clutch engaged, but doesn't when the clutch is pulled, then I would say it's to do with the engine or the part of the clutch which is disengaged.
Sounds like time to open the primary.... :'(

Hi paulo
you said its getting hard to start does it run ok when you do get it going
I used to have one of these years back and had similair troubles on one occasion the primary chain had no tensioner on some models (early)the primary chain stripped the teeth off the clutch sprocket resulting in symptons a bit like clutch slip and severe grinding under load and when starting
so as Rex said time to open up primary drive
