anyone got suggestions on how to remove bezel from smiths speedo or tach clocks.want to clean face.cheers

Chronos unscrew, but the cheaper mag ones are crimped. Some say you can ease them off by going around with a small screwdriver a little at a time, but I don't see how that would leave them looking anything other than crap.
Pay for a pro job, maybe?

you should be able to get a new bezal kit to replace the one you ease off with a screw driver, check flea bay for the kits.

Yes the kits are available but just as hard to put on neatly as the removing of the old one, I made a tool with a small ball race on the end this fits in my lathe and slowly rotate the speedo assembly whilst feeding the tool in a little at a time.
