Vintage Motosacoche 1900's

Hello everybody.
I write from France and even when I wasn't born in this country, I'm a great enthusiast of prewar French Motorcycles.

I've just bought a vintage motorcycle model MT made in Switzerland between 1907 and 1910.
Unfortunatelly, A great part of the original pieces are missing or changed, so I am looking for them in order to get the original look. If any of You had one of some of spare parts, please contact to me. I have some of them for swap.

Hello,
This is a picture of the bike at the present, thanks to a lot of friends who has help me to work on it with their parts, their work or their drawings/pictures.
However, they are still some missing parts as the rear brake, pumps, front fork shock-absorbing, taps of the tank, so I am still looking for them.

I cannot help you with any parts, but it looks to be and interesting engine. Any details about it?

Isn't Motosacoche literally an 'engine in a suitcase'  or similar ?

These were popular clip-on type engines for ordinary bicycles.
Add clipon engine, the pulley to the rear wheel and go...

I have some pre war French motorcycles but nothing as old or as beautiful as that bike.

Hi,
Yes motosacoche means "engine in a suitcase" because the Dufaux Brothers (French guys who lived in Switzerland) decided to built a kind of suitecase with an engine/ tank/ battery and other esential parts but the pulley for the rear wheel too, ready to fix on a common bike. However they built their own frames or buyed to other companies as BSA, Condor, etc. and put their little badge H & A Dufaux.
Since 1908/9 they start to modify the frames: they become longer and the base is rounded to adapt it to the engine.
Mine has one of these frames.
