Not great pics, but any help would be good.
« on: September 22, 2011, 10:30:18 AM »
Hope some of you may be able to help. After clearing out my father in laws garage I have two frames, one seems in OK condition the other I do not know if it is worth trying to sell or just throw.
Would try ebay but do not know what they are or their value, if they have any value at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

The remains of the black Ariel has some value.
The red frame is from a James Comet and I doubt it is worth much, but I'm sure somebody will want it.
The rear mudguard marked "BSA" "686 CTT" is from a BSA Dandy scooterette, again not worth much but somebody may need it.

Please don't throw anything away. Even tins with nuts and bolts in. Someone will need them.

Girder forked projects sell themselves these days. You'll find a buyer for the Ariel without any trouble. Can you read the engine and or frame numbers ?

No ROGERWILKO, no wind up, just some genuine advice needed.
Thanks all for your help, very much appreciated, at least with the red frame etc. I know what to advertise as now.
As for the Aerial, a chap got in touch with me yesterday after viewing on this site and is making the trip to come and see
it this afternoon.
I obviously chose the right website and forum.
Thanks again.
