norton mod 7 1953

In the 50,s i had a model 7 1953 with single downtube frame and swinging arm painted silver and have not been able to find out a lot. I still have the book that came with it and some pages have been glued in on the rear suspension. The book was supplied with the bike when sold new. Was it just made up for the export market and were they sent to New Zealand. Have had some interesting discussions and wondered if someone could explain. Thankyou i do have a photo taken on a box brownie.

The Model 7 Dominator was made from 1948-56 and was commonly available on both the home and export markets, although the majority of the first year's production were exported I believe?
The first models had plunger rear suspension, although that was replaced by a swinging arm version for 1953-on (that could be the reason for the glued in pages in the handbook?).
The Dominator models really became popular when the later Featherbed frame versions were introduced.
